My Story
I started Photos by Chenar for one reason: the way you look at your pet deserves a portrait that looks back. Not snapshots — not a dozen options — but a single, soulful image that stops you in the hallway every time you pass it.
I don't do forty things. I do one thing — pet portraits — and I do it with my whole heart.
My background is in fine art — composition, light, emotion. I bring that same eye to every pet I photograph. Whether your companion is a regal retriever or a mischievous kitten, I treat every session as portraiture, never as a snapshot.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me volunteering at local shelters, hiking with my own rescue pup, or studying the Old Masters for new ways to see light. Animals have taught me everything I know about patience, presence, and unconditional love.
